Melissa is a passionate oral hygienist who’s interests lie in dental disease prevention. She will make your dental experience a comfortable and positive one through her gentle and caring approach.
Her role as a hygienist supports the dentist in providing individualised care in maintaining optimal dental health.
Melissa’s special interest is regarding the link between gum health and systemic health.
Melissa graduated with a bachelor of Oral Health Therapy from the Central Queensland University of Rockhampton in 2018. Dental therapists are qualified to treat and manage children and adolescents.
She has experience working in regional health settings and aged care settings, where she enjoyed building relationships within the community.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys being outdoors, hiking and camping with her two young children, Vivienne and Murphy!
