Brisbane North and Pine Rivers Community Spring Fair
Come along and enjoy A New Day... and celebrate new life with the changing of seasons. Hosted by Bridgeman
Baptist Community Church, Saturday September 15 promises to be a wonderful day celebrating the opening of their new Youth Halls which
will provide a fantastic area to hold the Spring Fair. With recent rains providing a much needed soaking to the area, we have much
to be thankful for as Spring arrives, and great hope that these falls continue over the coming months.
With official celebrations starting at 11am, event organiser Angela Parry describes what to look forward to: "It will be a great day
out with everyone's fair favourites. Great stock of cakes, crafts, plants, produce, and bargains at the second-hand stalls of books,
toys, bric a brac, pre-loved kids clothes, kitchenware and more!
Kids always love our Mini Fair with face painting, clowns, balloons, games, craft, colouring in and the jumping castle."
The Community Church area also has a courtyard cafe for the adults where we can all relax and have a coffee and cake. Musicians,
singers, and the Desley Donaldson Ballet Academy will all be performing throughout the day. There will be a variety of food available
for refreshment during the day. The official Spring Fair will conclude around 5pm, but stay to enjoy "A New Day" Open Air Concert
commencing around 6pm.
