As combined family members or as an individual, you may be entitled to a
20% rebate on the total of your medical, dental and optical expenses
exceeding the $1500.00 threshold per financial year. That is, the portion
of the out
of pocket expenses that you incur after receiving your private health fund
insurance rebates (and Medicare rebates where applicable).
Seek advice from an accountant if in doubt as to how the net medical expense rebate applies to you.

Depending on the complexity of your treatment requirements, fees can vary. At the initial examination appointment we develop your individual treatment plan in consultation with you and provide detailed estimates of cost. As a guide, the initial fee for this first appointment is $141 including two intra-oral radiographs for early problem detection.
Patient funding through MediPlan is also available for those who wish to arrange flexible payment options. Mediplan offers a reliable finance solution without any surprises. In addition, your private health insurer may offer a partial refund on their chosen items of your dental treatment. Medicare will also provide cover for patients referred to our practice through their Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plans. Note to our Medicare patients: The new Federal Government is phasing out the EPC dental plan by 30 June 2008. Jorgensen Mutzelburg Dental will continue to deliver you the excellent service and dental treatment you have come to know. We will be diligent in promoting improved dental health outcomes for our community.
Payment Requirements
Payment is required at each appointment - cash, credit card, and
EFTPOS facilities are available, plus HICAPS
for direct billing of your health insurer.

your financial budget, so we have introduced a range of payment plans
which will enable you to complete the dental treatment you desire and need.
Health Insurance
Make an instant claim to your health fund insurer and avoid the forms, queues and waiting for cheques in the mail.
Just swipe your Health Insurance Membership Card through our HICAPS facility on the day of your treatment.
Since we can immediately make your claim, you are only responsible for the balance or "Gap" payment.
The great thing about HICAPS is that it supports all of the major health funds (currently 45 health insurance companies are members).

Concession Cards
Current holders of the Department of Veterans Affairs, DVA Gold and White Cards , and Seniors Cards are welcome.
